Before I say I Do....Pt 2

Before I say I DO! Before I walk her down the aisle, before I even date her,
before I start screaming at the top of my voice for her add me a glass of water.
Before I can tell the whole world that this is the love of my life whom am proud of!
Before our relationship takes a wrong turn.
Before she decides or I decide to walk away from the relationship,

there are a few things that if I will follow would build my relationship, save my relationship or even create a better relationship.

KNOWLEDGE
Understanding her culture and everything about her. When we get into a relationship, we all got junk from our previous relationships with friends and family alike. Knowlegde helps create a new constitution to guide our relationship.

PATIENCE
Sometimes we are inexperienced to handle relationship based problems. There is need to be patient with our partners as it helps build maturity levels in our relationships.

LISTENING.
There is a reason why we have two ears and one mouth. Listening to each other in the relationship builds a stronger relationship. Its the basic model of communication.

FORGIVENESS
With our egos saying "Sweety AM SORRY. It wont happen again" is a challenge. We want to keep grudges, we want anger to pile up. When under such its advisable to forgive and mean it by forgetting it. Forgiveness is the gateway to a better relationship. We aint perfect!FORGIVE n FORGET.

OPENNESS.
Being open helps develop the union. It helps clear the junk we have from the previous relationships. It fosters communication between partners.

Before I say I Do....Pt 1

Relationships!they build lives,
infact in the Holy Book an acknowlegdement that MAN WAS CREATED FOR RELATIONSHIPS.
We cant run away from them.
We encounter them daily in our work place, in our rooms, in church, in schools.

My input towards any relationship determines whether it will work or fail.
Whatever a man soweth so shall he reap.
Sometimes we castigate our partners without giving them that chance to speak.
We date to show the world that we got a sweetheart.
We date in rush to stick that ring on to the finger.

When two people come from two different backgrounds,they might speak the same language but have two different cultures.
Its good to take time to understand your partner's culture.
It helps especially when we trying to cope with the changes in life patterns around us.
Thats the reason why its good to court for a long time.

Before you say it in front of the world.
Before you say it before your partner,
are you able to mean it?
Are you able to give the vows a practical reality?
Before you say I love you, do you mean it?

Vipers n Vampires

Beware, be aware,
under the blue sky, a warfare.
Bloodshed, choking stench of corpses,
rotten beyond being perfumed.
Body parts, bursted eyeballs, cut out tongues.
The sight, more worse than the valley of dry bones.

Questions, rhetorical questions.
I seek for the answers,
answers from the dead.
They tell no tales.
Dead gone and forgotten, so are they.
Murdered without a second chance or no room to dance.
Disappeared without a trace.

I keep wondering why some humans are super-human?
I wonder why some super-human people are like leeches, with mouths so round,
ready to suck every piece of energy from us
I keep wondering why we still dance to the music of the same people who kill our diversity.

The world has turned us to vipers,
the world has turned us to vampires.
We kill with our conscience right.
We rape and defile our unborn.
We persecute the custodians of truth and justice.
Our levels of stupidity on the up-surge,
our levels of intelligence on the decline.
We burn our own bed by day and at night expect to sleep soundly.

This aint God's picture of the world,
this aint humanity's perspective of the world.
This wasn't the master plan but the bastard plan.
I don't want my unborn to find the world at this state.
If I aint the warrior to fight the vampire who will?
If I aint the one to crush the vipers, who will?
If it aint me, WHO?
